We support the objectives, activities, and
projects of California Garden
Clubs, Inc. and National Garden Clubs,
Inc. because it is only with many hands and minds that much good can be
accomplished that we can leave for the posterity of our children. Canyon Crest Garden Club is an active member of
the Orange County District, a non-profit association of garden clubs affiliated
with California Garden Clubs,
Inc., Pacific Region, and National
Garden Clubs, Inc.
Our goal is to study and promote interest
in amateur gardening, in arboretums and botanical gardens, and in the
conservation, preservation and appreciation of the natural and man-made beauties
of the State of California.
To aid in the protection and conservation
of natural resources, to encourage civic beautification and the improvement of
roadsides and parks. To encourage and assist in establishing and maintaining
botanical gardens and horticultural centers for the advancement of science and
for the enjoyment and education of the public. To study and advance the fine
arts of gardening, landscape design, floral design and horticulture.
To further horticultural education,
conservation, and landscape design through gift scholarships. To cooperate with
other agencies in furthering the foregoing objectives.
