Hi everyone!!!

Wow, what a day!  Thanks so much for coming over to my house  and sharing the day together!  I loved having the robins released from Pacific Wildlife Rescue. They are so appreciative of our donations to support them and I hope they will always continue their good work with all creatures wild with wings and webbed feet, bushy tails etc.!

On to De Portola School to see what an incredible job the teachers and volunteers, ourselves included through donations, have accomplished.
With Jane Strait as master gardener, educator, and tireless crusader for
their cause, they have now become a site for all the local schools to visit
as an example of what a community and garden club can accomplish.

Thanks to our great hostesses, and bakers of adorable lady bug and lavender  cookies ...Carleene Hyde!  Also, the fruit and lemonade from Jane Strait's  hubby was delicious...the casseroles were fabulous as well, thanks to  Sue Krueger and Jean Rogers.  Once again our hostesses wowed us.

Emmy Day, what a cool place! Loved the collection of suns and the bottle tree - awesome!  Carleene, your house was so cute!  Loved the parasols! and lets not forget those fairy spots!  Robert and Markey Neighbors and Hank and Lena  Parker, Carleene's neighbors, were so kind to let us all troop through their very nice gardens.  We are a very grateful and lucky group to have pulled it off and had a tour. Lets all take the leap and think about next year so we don't have to beg.  We will, if needed though! So please think about your yard.  It should not be perfect... its the garden, it's never perfect, that's why we are drawn to the differences in everyone's environment. I found sooo many great ideas in them. Thanks again.  I hope you all had a great day.

Yours....Amy
